Our Worship Services:

Our worship is simple, spiritual and orderly. God wants simple worship that is poured out of our hearts and offered up to Him - Jesus said, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24).  When we worship God, it is not about what we like or what sounds good to us…worship is about pleasing God!  Thus, each element of our worship finds its origin in the commands and examples found in the New Testament of God’s word:-
One of the greatest blessings we have as children of God is being able to “come boldly before the throne of grace”. At certain times during worship, some of our brothers will lead us in prayer to God. We pray, not only to praise and thank God, but also to ask for our needs and the needs of others,  (I Timothy 2:1-4).

As a group of worshippers, we absolutely love to sing and we would love for you to join in! None of us are professionals; we are just trying to pour our spirits out to God in song. Don't worry if you think you might be out of tune, -if your heart is right, that is all that matters!…”make a joyful noise unto the Lord”
You will hear different song tempos and lyrics and styles, all intended to give praise to God and for us to teach one another. In Ephesians 5:19, and Colossians 3:16, God has commanded us all to sing, so we have no choirs or praise teams during our worship service.
You may be surprised that we don't use instruments. The reason for this is because for worship, we only read in the New Testament about singing and making melody in our hearts, so that is the pattern we follow.

Our Sunday worship services include a Bible based sermon.  The goal of the sermon is to teach us how to think as Christ thinks, and to walk as Christ walked!  At the conclusion of the sermon, our preacher will offer a time of response to the message. You will find this done in a simple and respectful way…no one will try to "drag" you down the aisle, or coerce you in any way. An "Invitation" will be offered for anyone who wishes to give their life to Christ, or give thanks for answered prayer, or who would like to have the church pray for them (Matt 28:18-20; James 5:16).  If you choose to do either of these, simply walk to the front of the auditorium during the invitation song; there you will be assisted by one of our leaders.

We do not take up a collection every time we meet, but only on the first day of the week, (I Corinthians 16:1-2).  When the collection is taken you are not expected to give… this is the responsibility of members, not our guests. However, if you would like to give, you are quite welcome to do so!

The night He was betrayed, Jesus instituted a memorial meal. Jesus commanded his followers to observe this "communion" as a remembrance of Him until He comes again (1 Cor. 11:23-26). In the New Testament, we read that the church gathered together on the first day of the week to observe this intimate memorial (Acts 20:7). It was a remembrance of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, giving his body and his blood for us. We read that they did this every week, and so that is why we do the same. Should you take part in this communion? That decision is up to you; no one here will make that choice for you. In 1 Cor. 11:23-34, the Bible teaches that this is a time for Christians to carefully examine ourselves, then partake of the bread and fruit of the vine in a worthy manner.
We hope that this information has been helpful and that we get to see you real soon!
